January 2017 Highlights

2017 State Level Skills Competition

EArtH conducted its annual 2-day skills competition event for its adopted kids on Jan 22-23 in Jangaon on the eve of Republic day. This is EArtH’s biggest event every year.

All 9 schools conducted competitions to their kids. Winners and runners from school level will go to this organization level event. Below is the categories list. Preparations have been going on for more than a month.

Drawing, Writing, Speaking/Elocution (Telugu and English), Singing, Dance
Sports – Chess, Skipping, Running, Kabaddi, Long jump
Group quiz competition
Yoga

Events’s chief guest was Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, MP of Rajya Sabha for Telangana

State Level Skills Competition – Prizes

1st prize theme – Stop Female Foeticide – A girl can become great women like Mother Theresa or Indira Gandhi.                        

2nd prize theme : Save Trees and Save nature – Compare worlds with and without trees    Also few more pictures.

Pongal

Earth staff helped celebrate Pongal in Malkapur school. Muggula poti in Mutharam school, conducted by school staff. Nice to see school staff themselves taking such initiatives.

TLM

EArtH staff at Pedarathpally prepared a TLM (Teaching Learning Material) to explain teach States and their capital cities.
