At the EArtH Foundation-adopted schools in Telangana, Children’s Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on November 14th, commemorating the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, affectionately known as Chacha Nehru for his profound love for children. The festivities began with students and teachers paying homage to Nehru by offering garlands and flowers, followed by heartfelt speeches reflecting on his contributions and his enduring dedication to children’s welfare.

The celebration was brought to life with vibrant cultural performances, including captivating dances by the students, which added to the festive spirit. Engaging games and competitions were also organized, with prizes awarded to the winners to encourage active participation and boost their confidence. The event concluded with an inspiring message, underscoring the importance of nurturing children’s potential to shape a brighter, more promising future.

Under the guidance of the EArtH Foundation, a Talent Test was organized to mark the occasion of National Education Day. The event was honored by the presence of M.E.O. Anjayya Sir from Akbarpet Bhoompalli, who personally distributed the question papers and provided a clear explanation of the examination process, adding a personal touch to the proceedings.

The Talent Test was designed to identify and nurture students’ abilities, encouraging them to showcase their academic strengths. This initiative aimed to inspire students to strive for excellence, focus on their potential, and build confidence in their capabilities across various subjects. By motivating students to recognize and harness their talents, the program sought to foster a culture of hard work and ambition.

The test was conducted not only in Bhoompalli but also extended to Thimmapur, Kammarlapalli, and Jakkapur, enabling a larger group of students to participate. By reaching out to these neighbouring villages, the initiative ensured a broader platform for students to demonstrate their skills and achieve recognition.

On November 26th, Constitution Day, students and teachers from EArtH Foundation-adopted schools in Telangana and Maharashtra came together to honor the significance of the Indian Constitution. The event featured insightful speeches by students on how the Constitution safeguards rights and fosters justice, while teachers emphasized its core principles of equality and democracy.

The celebration instilled a sense of pride in the nation’s values and deepened students’ understanding of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Interactive discussions highlighted the importance of being accountable citizens and upholding the ideals of liberty, fairness, and equal rights for all.

The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the Constitution’s principles and actively contribute to the nation’s progress and unity.

C.V. Raman Jayanthi, celebrated annually on November 7th, honors the life and groundbreaking contributions of Sir C.V. Raman to science. This year, the occasion was observed with great enthusiasm in Kasulabad. The celebration began with a teacher drawing a portrait of Sir C.V. Raman on the board and sharing insights into his remarkable life and achievements, with a special focus on the Raman Effect.

Students learned how his discovery revolutionized the field of physics and brought international recognition to India. The session highlighted his historic achievement as the first Indian to win the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. The teacher shared fascinating facts about his journey, sparking curiosity and admiration among the students.

The interactive session allowed students to ask questions, making the event engaging and informative. By showcasing the significance of science in everyday life, the celebration aimed to inspire students to explore the world of discovery, cultivate a passion for learning, and embrace the spirit of innovation.

On November 11th, students and teachers gathered to celebrate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The event began with a tribute of flowers, followed by inspiring speeches highlighting his pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle and his contributions as the country’s first Education Minister. The celebration emphasized his unwavering efforts to promote education and foster national unity.

Students learned about Maulana Azad’s visionary ideas for building a better India and were inspired by his dedication to the nation. Discussions focused on his progressive vision for education and his instrumental role in establishing institutions like the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), which continue to shape India’s future.

The event encouraged students to emulate his example by valuing knowledge, embracing learning, and working toward the nation’s growth and development.

The Children’s Day celebration brought an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm to the school. A highlight of the day was the drawing competition, where students showcased their creativity and artistic talents with great passion. At the EArtH Foundation-adopted schools, yoga and meditation are integral to the daily routine. Students actively practice a variety of yoga postures, including Suryanamaskaras (Sun Salutations), which contribute to improved flexibility, strength, and overall physical health.

These sessions not only enhance physical well-being but also sharpen concentration, alleviate stress, and promote mental clarity. Meditation complements the practice by fostering emotional balance, inner peace, and mindfulness.

In both the adopted schools, indoor and outdoor games are an essential part of the daily activities, providing students with opportunities for fun and physical development. Indoor games like chess and carrom, along with outdoor games such as kho kho, running, recreation games, and kabaddi, are enjoyed by all.

Before starting outdoor games, PET Sir ensures that every student warms up, promoting fitness, boosting energy levels, and reducing the risk of injuries. These games are not only enjoyable but also teach important life skills such as teamwork, focus, and discipline, enriching the overall school experience.

Additionally, these activities foster friendly competition, enhance motor skills, and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Students eagerly look forward to these sessions, knowing that they not only improve their physical health but also build lasting friendships and create cherished memories.
