This event was one of the biggest recognitions of the EArtH Foundation. On April 18, EArtH Foundation successfully completed 10 years of Service. We celebrated this by launching EArtH Foundation video In Hyderabad by respected comedian Mr. & Mrs. Ali on August 9th at paaka café, Hyderabad. EArtH Foundation Founders, Directors, Senior Coordinators, Reports & Documentation Coordinator, PET, Dance Master, Adopted schools’ staff, Childline Coordinators & team of Peddapally, Sircilla and Siddipet Districts, children and the parents, press. Here are the highlights.
As it was the 75th Independence Day, most of us were celebrating Azadi ka Amritotsav celebrations effectively from August 2nd to August 22nd. All of our adopted schools observed these celebrations in different ways.
This Program is conducted once a month with all the mothers of our adopted school students. In this month our team conducted MAP meeting at Nizamabad School. In this program total of around 56 mothers attended the program. The chief guest for this program was village Kethireddy Arunajaganmohanreddy Garu, SMC Chairman, Earth senior coordinators, Principal, PET, Dance master and volunteers. The Main objective of this MAP meeting is about student’s cleanliness.
Students from all of our adopted schools made Lord Ganesha idols with clay. For newly adopted school students, this is a new and first activity. After completion of idol making, students took a rally in the streets to create awareness in people to avoid use of Plaster of Paris idols and to use only clay idols to protect the environment (slogan:
మట్టి గణపతిని పూజిద్దాం పర్యావరణాన్ని రక్షిద్దాం). Finally, all the staff and students offered prayers to Lord Ganesh. Through this activity, students learned the importance of protecting the environment using eco-friendly Ganesh idols.
This is the birthday celebration of Lord Krishna. Only Nizamabad schools celebrated this event. This event was celebrated on August 19th, 2022 in a completely traditional way. All the boys were dressed up like Lord Krishna and girls got dressed like Gopika’s. Students did dance performances, they looked so beautiful in that traditional Attire. After that children participated in ఉట్టి కొట్టడం (Glosbe beating) with high energy. Mothers also participated in this program, they captured pictures, videos of their children performing and felt happy for them. Through this activity, students learned about traditions, rituals that need to be followed at festivals.
On August 29th, the birth anniversary of major Dhyanchand, we celebrateit as“National Sports day“. This year our team celebrated this special day in Nizamabad Adopted school. We educated students about the importance of sports in daily life. One special thing on this day was our EArtH Foundation PET -Michael received felicitation from the principal who was also his childhood teacher. He was very happy with this and grateful to the EArtH Foundation.
As mentioned in last month’s report, EArtH Foundation adopted six new schools in Siddipet. The villages are Bakrichepyal, Velkatur, Jakkapur. Let’s educate students in many aspects and improve the strength of these schools with our services. Students had already participated in clay Ganesh making and awareness events. They started learning dance, physical activities and innovative ways of learning academics. We conducted a survey on how many students have dropped out and need help and found that the students are very smart and capable. Hope EArtH Foundation can guide them around being successful students.
On the eve of Rakhi pournami, Nizamabad school students tied Rakhi’s to each other and wished each other on this brother-sister festival.
