At EArtH Foundation’s adopted schools in Telangana, the Bathukamma celebrations were vibrant and colorful. Students and teachers actively participated in making Bathukammas, decorating them with flowers, and preparing prasadams. Dressed in beautiful attire, everyone joined in for dandiya, singing traditional songs, and finally immersing the Bathukamma in water. Teachers shared the cultural significance of Bathukamma with students, explaining the festival’s importance. Additionally, one school awarded prizes to the top three most beautifully decorated Bathukammas.
