Dance Contest in Maharashtra Schools

The EArth Foundation has greatly impacted rural students by promoting education and extracurricular activities. On 24/12/24, 16 girls from ZP Private Schools in Rahegaon and Bahegaon participated in a Gondal folk dance competition at Zilla Parishad Primary School Bahegaon. This was a remarkable step, as parents previously did not allow girls to engage in activities outside school. Through consistent counseling, the Foundation educated parents on the importance of education and opportunities for girls, citing role models like Savitribai Phule and Jijamata. As a result, parents now support their daughters in sports, arts, and competitions. The girls are excelling in district-level events, showcasing their talents and breaking societal barriers. Parents value these programs and encourage participation, fostering equality and empowerment. The EArth Foundation’s efforts have helped in the holistic development of children, making them confident and proud contributors to society.
